SOLID VIDEO!!! You guys totally dominated the low-carb idiots there. When my body was in severe ketosis (on a vegan diet), I felt like absolute shit and I became obsessed with watching other people eat carbs. I literally had to drink 3+ litres of sugar-free caffeinated beverages daily to even do anything. I could not function. I had to prepare for an important doctoral interview and I could barely do it because my brain was so starved for glucose. I ended up getting everything done but I was a crying mess the whole time. My digestion was also completely fucked and I smelled terribly lol. I figured that this could not be right, my body was just breaking down. #fuckdiets #carbthefuckup

What about people who eat the right foods (whole food plant based) BUT do restrict calories to 1500. It is possible to get all nutrients while undereating in a sense and at the same time not be hungry. It seems dangerous to combine these two concepts…

Hi, I'm a nutrition student too, and i was wondering: You said that you always end up in ketosis from a high fat or high protein diet, but protein can be turned into pyruvate which is called gluconeogenesis and form glucose.
I surely agree with the fact that a high fat diet isn't the way to live. And we should all reduce our meat and other animal protein intake. Many studies revealed that this increases life expactany.
Hope you understand what i was trying to say (i'm not a native English speaker)

This still doesn't answer the main question! If people become vegan, provide their body with the correct carb source, how till their body burn the current fat they have? I understand the whole thing about the right form of carbs and glucose, but if I need to lose 10 kilos and I provide my body with all the glucose then how will it use my current fat source and burn it?!?!?!
